- There is no place like home
- Next time we shall just holiday at home because Sydney is the best holiday destination
We have been thinking about changing the tickets and fly back to Sydney earlier, unfortunately the conditions of the tickets wouldn't allow us to do so.
It's not that bad though, just very hot and humid in Hainan and it's a challenge every time to get out of the house.
Two little things that are worth recording. Firstly, whenever Isaac wanted to poo and we took him to the public toilet, he would say "mommy I don't want to poo any more, my poo has gone back to my tummy!" as soon as he saw the toilet. Secondly, it's hard work to find a proper coffee place especially in Haikou. Yesterday my brother drove us around for almost one hour before we finally found a place for Mark. There were several places before that but either too many smokers inside or were shut down due to a power failure.
The positive side is I have done some bargain shopping in Sanya and Haikou: some beautiful pearl necklaces in Sanya and many "designer" handbags in Haikou. Enough to make me happy!
Nevertheless, we are looking forward to the day that we board that Qantas plane and head home.

I thought for a second that 'no place like home' referred to China :)
Can't wait to see photos of your new bargains though :)
Poor Isaac, Guess Daniel would say the same thing when he was in such a situation :)
I totally understand all these chanllenges you must have gone through when travelling with two little ones and a husband in china. But I always wished I could stay a bit longer when we were there...
BTW, when I saw your post title i knew that you were going to say you can't wait to sit on the Quantas back austrailia. :)
